Four Colors Brooch

Another simple but practical design for a brooch with 4 different colors of gemstones.

To wear it to be straight like in the picture below.

Trio Brooch

Last night, while watching the AIM, my hand played with the wire and came up with this design. One unique brooch with three different gemstones plus one swarovski pearl. And also used non tarnish pink plated wire, to make it look elegant.

Crystalline quartz in shades of purple, lilac or mauve is called AMETHYST. It has been worn as protection from self-deception, as well as a protection against witchcraft. The amethyst has long been used to open the spiritual and psychic centers, making it one of the power stones. It is also used as a meditation aid when worn as a necklace.The amethyst symbolizes piety, humility, sincerity and spiritual wisdom. It is thought the amethyst is the perfect stone to symbolize The Age of Aquarius.

ROSE QUARTZ is known as the love stone. It helps the user feel a strong sense of self-worth, therefore being worth love. Rose quartz is the stone of universal love. It is also the stone of love in marriage. When worn in jewelry the wearer feels a sense of self-worth.

TOPAZ is one of the twelve breastplate stones of the High Priest referred to in the Book of Exodus. The breastplate stones are considered sacred to twelve mighty angels who guard the gates to Paradise.Topaz is used to:

Orange Carnelian Earing

This morning while waiting for my time to pick up my daughter at school, I managed to design this earing, chunky and nice. I just spiral the wire and wrap the side of the stone so it still can show the beauty of the carnelian.

Carnelian (also sometimes referred to as cornelian) is found primarily in India, as well as various sites in South America. It is a variety of chalcedony. The most favorable pieces are a deep red to red-orange hue. Carnelian has a long and storied past, and was once considered strictly the property of the noble class. People holding a high social status were often buried with this gem stone.

As I said before, I make two different colors of byzantine bracelets...same method with non tarnish pink plated wire with black swarovski pearls. And non tarnish silver plated wire with pink swarovski pearls. Very sweet combination...I like it so much!

Byzantine White Pearls Bracalet

This bracelet was constructed using a variation byzantine chain mail weave. Its a bit complex and it took me about 31/2 hours to complete this bracelet. Wow, I think I like it so much and enjoying doing it. I'm going to make more of this bracelet, probably with different colors of wire and pearls...
